Program Office Intern - Human Rights Watch

The Program Office of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking graduate student applicants for a summer 2022 internship in either the New York or Washington D.C. office (though internships will take place remotely). Ideally, the candidate will be available for at least 20 hours a week for a period of 10 weeks (days and hours are flexible, as is starting date).

The intern will work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) lead, assisting with work on designing and implementing processes to improve organizational effectiveness. The intern will build skills in developing values-based processes and outcome metrics and in human rights research design and methodology. The intern will gain experience working with an international non-profit organization.

CAA is looking for a couple of dynamic individuals and changemakers to fill the Executive Assistant and Policy Associate positions. The right candidates will play an essential part in office and event management, operation efficiency, and ultimately, the success of the organization. The Executive Assistant will primarily provide administrative support to our leadership team and board of directors and occasionally assist with some of our policy and advocacy projects. The Development Assistant will primarily manage the CRM database, lead smaller gift campaigns, and occasionally provide general office support.
